Born and raised in Southern California, I moved to Southern Oregon in 1975. Malcolm and I share three great children, Jason, Wayd and Roxanne. Malcolm and I live in the hills north of Grants Pass, OR.
I was the Department Chair for the Art Deptment. of Rogue Community College prior to retirement. I have taught a variety of art classes and was the director of the galleries at the college for 30+ years. It has been my great pleasure to work with students of all ages that are interested in art. I value art in our lives. It is a great expression, a method of communicating and problem solving.
I continue to work to develop community thru the arts with various committee and community projects. Currently, I am on the board of the JoCo Cultural Coalition and Rogue Gateway Rotary. I support and work to enhance many other community events and projects. Community and the greater good are very important to me.
My work reflects on the world around me . . . the wonder, the delights and my hope for a world of peace. It is impossible to not notice the mean spiritedness occasionally seen. In love and kindness we must continue to work for peace.
